Fortifikationsverket is seeking a Security Officer for the Security Department. Do you want to work at the heart of Sweden's total defense – where technology, security, and societal mission meet? We build, develop, and provide defense properties and fortifications that allow actors in Sweden's total defense to operate from a secure location. The uncertain global situation means that Fortifikationsverket is growing and has a significant recruitment need. We are now looking for a Security Officer in Ekerö who wants to work at one of Sweden's most exciting workplaces.

Responsibilities

In the role of Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing operational support within security protection in larger investment projects with the project department. The focus is primarily on information security and security protection planning. The operational support includes, for example, assistance in security protection planning, information security analyses, establishing local instructions and routines, and conducting training in security protection.

Furthermore, the role involves fulfilling the tasks assigned to the authority according to the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, as well as the regulations of the Armed Forces and the Security Police regarding security protection.

The role belongs to the group for operational security support, which is responsible for support within the entire security protection and provides targeted support to the project department. The group is part of the security protection unit, which works under the security protection manager with guiding, supportive, and follow-up security protection work at the authority. The assignments are carried out in close cooperation with FRA as a partner within the defense family. You report to the group manager. Travel is required in the position and can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with education in the field of security protection and experience in security protection issues, including security protection planning, as well as knowledge of security protection legislation and its regulations. We want you to have a pronounced drive to participate in the work of protecting Sweden's security. You have good knowledge of Swedish. A class B driver's license is a requirement.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with physical security, information security, or security protection analysis. It is also advantageous if you have experience advising on security protection issues and experience in conducting training. If you have knowledge of the Armed Forces' regulations regarding security protection service, that is also positive. It is also beneficial if you have completed the Armed Forces' course for security service officers or equivalent. Signal protection training is also an advantage.

The position is a permanent employment, and a probationary period may apply. The place of employment is Ekerö. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a war position. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security clearance with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
